Like all things fashionable, makeup follows its own trend, and this season the focus is on clean makeup. From the catwalks of Fashion Week we noticed a few hot trends that certain designers opted for.
- the 90s lip is definitely back, so stock up on the reds and berries. Fuller lips are here to stay, so when lining your lips make sure you line just outside the natural line.
- Instead of the conventional gold eyeshadow, try sweeping a metallic bronze over the eye.
- The flushed cheek is going no where, so when applying your blusher, stay on the cheek bone area, but be careful not to venture to close to the eye. You want to avoid looking as if you were punched in the eye.
- And no makeup can be complete without the eyeliner. We saw the cat eye liner trend stay for quite a while, but for this season why not move away from the conventional cat eye liner and opt for a more straight line. This will elongate the eye making it more mysterious.
